The team at ESI offer a fantastic service. They are reliable, approachable and ensure the smooth running of our school network. Their technical knowledge is excellent and love the challenge of solving new problems! We have technology embedded through our educational offer and our business infrastructure. We have around 150 pupil and staff laptops and around 50 iPads. We also have a mixture of macs and desktops for some staff and hardware (including screens in every room). ESI tech have supported with the procurement, installation and maintenance of all of these devices. Our network installation is all down to Jamie and his team – he ensures that our set up is fit for purpose and advised on necessary updates and upgrades. Jamie ensures that the school’s filtering and monitoring systems are rigorous and in line with updates to KCSIE. Jamie supports the school with our cyber security – ensuring we have preventative systems in place and responds quickly and effectively to any risks or concerns.
ESI tech take time to understand what works best for our set up and ensure that our systems reflect the needs of the school. They continuously develop their staff and ensure they work together to apply their expertise to provide the best service to each school. Nothing is too much for Jamie as he understands how schools operate. They are able to respond during and out of school hours (helpful for anyone working at home before or afterschool) quickly. For urgent enquiries, they are available by text, email or phone call and will quickly come onto site if it is something impacting teaching (eg faults on screens) or the running of the school (eg wifi or MIS issues).
Jamie fully understands the needs of schools, keeps up to date with curriculum information and network requirements and will be straight on site if OFSTED come knocking!
